I recently had a wonderful stay at The Majlis Resort. The location and facilities were excellent. The African-styled decor and architecture added a luxurious touch to the cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted me in arranging excursions. The airport pickup with the hotel's speedboat saved me the hassle of negotiating for my own transport. The public spaces and grounds were stunning, adding to the overall relaxing and idyllic experience. The massages were exceptional, thanks to the talented masseuse, Margaret. The food and cocktails were delicious, and the staff's warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and never alone. I can recommend this hotel.

The hotel had beautiful African-inspired decorations and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The staff was very friendly and professional. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food, especially the crab salad and tuna tartar. The excellent massages were a highlight of the trip. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the ocean and easy access to water sports activities.

There were some negative aspects that affected my overall experience. there were issues with bugs in some of the rooms and the management team seemed uninterested in addressing these concerns.

During my recent business trip, I had a pleasant stay at a seaside resort. I enjoyed the breathtaking views of the ocean and nearby islands from the comfortable sunbeds. It was nice that the resort provided complimentary toiletries in the room and clean swimming pools for guests to use. the location was ideal, with easy access to various outdoor activities for guests to explore.

although the room was clean and well-maintained, it lacked natural lighting and was slightly cramped. Despite these negatives, I did enjoy the overall experience and would recommend it for short stays.

This hotel is a paradise for those who seek luxury and exclusive amenities. The architecture is outstanding, mixing different vibes. It has a wonderful beach access, with beach umbrellas and sun loungers. The service is impeccable and the staff is welcoming and nice. In-room breakfast was delicious and the restaurant has amazing food and overlooks a serene view. The outdoor swimming pool is impeccable, as is the sun terrace and garden area.

Despite the impeccable service, the Spa & wellness center was closed during our stay, which was a bummer.

The staff is sweet and attentive and always goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The resort includes multiple facilities like a bar, spa and restaurant, and one can enjoy a lovely sunset while sipping on a drink.

Some guests reported that the staff is sometimes shy and take a few moments to come out of their shells, which could be a slight inconvenience to those looking for immediate communication.

The Majlis offers a wide range of activities to relax and rejuvenate. The bars have great design and views, making every drink an "out-of-this-world" experience. The restaurants offer excellent cuisine with unique architecture. The natural surroundings of Lamu provide various activities to keep active all day long.
